National Commander Coming To Kansas

September 25-29, 2016

Department Commander Bob Munson will accompany Charles E. Schmidt, National Commander of The American Legion on his tour of 15 Kansas Posts.  All American Legion Family are encouraged to come out to meet and greet the national commander.
 
 
National Commander to Lead Awareness Walk for Veterans
Hutchison will host a walk for Veterans on September 26, 2016 to raise awareness of the crucial issues facing America’s veterans and their families.  The walk will start around 9:30am at the National Guard Armory, 1111 N. Severance Street, upon the arrival of the commander's tour.  Tee shirts will be available at the parking lot just west of the armory for $6.00.  Cars may be parked on the arena lot just west of the armory. Do not park on the armory grounds.  Lunch will follow at Post 68 located at 730 west 4th street. Let's have a good turnout for a good cause.
